A Story That You Can Relate To

Avenue Q is a story of Princeton, a college graduate who comes to New York with big dreams. Anyone who has graduated from college will be able to connect with the musical. Avenue Q takes the “Sesame Street” concept to a whole new direction, something which everyone will enjoy.

Coming back to the story- Princeton arrives in New York with very little bank balance. He soon realizes that the only neighborhood that he can afford is Avenue Q. Avenue Q is also home to Kate, who is a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant; Brian, the out of work comedian; Trekkie Monster, who is also called an Internet addict; Christmas Eve, the therapist fiancée of Brian; Nicky, the good hearted slacker and his roommate Rod, who is a Republican investment banker and closeted gay; and Lucy, who is an avowed tramp and a home-wrecker.

Avenue Q Broadway tickets have been popular because one way or the other, the musical connects with the audience. While searching for purpose of his life, Princeton gets involved with Kate, the lovable teaching assistant. Lucy is also Princeton’s love interest. He is welcomed in the neighborhood by everyone. Two cuddly pastel puppets called The Bad Idea Bears frequently pop up to offer booze and other enticements to Princeton and Kate, thereby getting them in trouble.
