Rock and Roll superstar Conrad Birdie is in a bid to break records with his latest album. His agent is promoting the album and has ended up in a severe debt. He now wants to recover the money and pull himself out of the debt. The only way to achieve this is through the success of his latest album - Bye Bye Birdie. This storyline is quite catchy and gets more thrilling as it progresses. The star’s agent is determined not to leave any stone unturned, since he needs the money. In the quest to promote the rock star’s album, he plans to stage a publicity stunt. The rock star has to kiss a girl from the audience and dedicate the song “One Last Kiss” to this girl. This plan aims to attract simple publicity but goes awry. The girl in question has a boyfriend who messes up the live show. What follows is for you to find out when you watch this show.

The first production of Bye Bye Birdie was in 1960 followed by a film based on this Broadway show in 1963. Later again in 1995, the show was produced as a television serial.
