Can It Do It Again?

Just like the marquis on Broadway say "A Singular Sensation" hold true for the revival of one of my all time favorite Broadway shows. The story of a talent audition almost plays into the craze of television shows and reality TV following the life's and hopes of young talent. This production has a return of some original members, although in different roles for the creation of "A Chorus Line." The finale always gets me, and I am sure opening night will have many cheering and awe struck over the final song and dance which is breathtaking and offers such a release for the tensions created.

The show is probably more aimed for an adult audience and does have some questionable scenes for bringing a young family, perhaps if children are younger another show may be more appropriate, but all in all it can be a great family musical and a wonderful night for all who attend.

The question of course is, will the revival stand again and hold to the originals legacy. This show has a history as deep as Broadway theater goes, and something short of spectacular could just leave the production as a washed up over the hill event. I highly doubt it will, but anytime a legacy or legend comes out of retirement there is always a chance of falling short of original glory. Guess we all will have to see if the original magic will be created once again. I have a feeling it will, once again, capture fans and steal hearts along the way.
