The band’s first single “This Is a Call” was released in June 1995 and the group’s debut album was released in the subsequent month. Other subsequent singles included songs like, “I’ll Stick Around”, “For All The Cows” and “Big Me”. After these releases the bank went on a tour performance in the subsequent months and gave their first appearance at the Reading Festival in England in August. With producer Gil Norton, the band recorded their second album. Grohl rerecorded the album with new songs by himself as he was not happy with the mixing with him on the drums minus Goldsmith which was released o May 20, 1997 titled “The Color and The Shape”.
The Foo Fighters band launched their third album “There Is Nothing Left To Lose” which included several singles including “Learn To Fly” which was the band’s first single to reach the US Hot 100. The band’s fourth album was released in October 2002 under the title “One by One” which included singles like “All My Life”, “Times Like These”, “Low” and “Have It All”. Next to be released was a double CD, “In Your Honor” in 2005, one full of rock songs and the other featuring acoustic tracks marked the band’s 10th anniversary.
