WELL KNOWN HOLLYWOOD CAST!

James Gandolfini, Jeff Daniels and Marcia Gay Harden are set to headline a new play by Yasmina Reza. God of Carnage finished its debut run in London’s West End in June and is now currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. It is scheduled to officially make its Broadway opening on March 22, 2009. Find out what happens when two sets of parents meet up to discuss and deal with the rowdy behavior of their respective eleven year old children.

In the aftermath of two boys fighting on the playground the parents try to come together to rationally discuss the situation. But, is that even possible? As they prepare to sit down for dinner to get to the bottom of the problem they may begin to realize that this might not have been such a good idea after all. As many of us already know there are some lines that shouldn’t be crossed especially when it comes to our kids. This dinner party can’t end well! What the audience gets is a witty, edgy comedy/drama that all too often mirrors real life. In the end will the grown ups behavior be worse then the kids? Probably!

In addition to the clever banter and off the wall plot this production offers a rare opportunity to experience a stellar cast with incredible chemistry. In the role of Michael is Emmy award winner Gandolfini who is probably best known for his famous mob boss alter ego Tony in the hit series The Sopranos. He made his Broadway debut in the 1992 production of A Streetcar Named Desire. He also appeared in the 1995 production of On the Waterfront and has many film credits on his resume including Crimson Tide, Surviving Christmas and All the Kings Men. In the role of Veronica is Academy Award winning actress Marsha Gay Harden who is no stranger to Broadway having earned much praise for her work in the 1993 production of Angels in America: Millennium Approaches. She has appeared in several television shows and has had impressive roles in such films as Mystic River, Pollock and Mona Lisa Smile. In the role of Alan is Jeff Daniels who is probably best known for his roles in such films as Dumb & Dumber and The Hours. He made his Broadway debut in the 1977 production of Gemini. The show also stars stage actress Hope Davis in the role of Annette

Don’t miss your chance to catch these amazing stars in action and together on the same stage. They bring their “A” game and deliver the dialogue with such ease that you can’t help but think that they are in this actual situation. This show will not disappoint but get your God Of Carnage tickets soon as the show is on a limited run and is scheduled to end in July.
