He tells the audience of his time playing eight characters for his school's presentation of "The Music Man" as well as his work in the 2003 production of "The Boy From Oz" and hosting the Tony Awards. Mr. Jackman performs a variety of songs along the way, including Cole Porter tunes, Rogers & Hammerstein masterpieces, Peter Allen standards, and a solid cover of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “ “Empire State of Mind." While Hollywood wants nothing more than keep him on the big screen it quickly becomes apparent he is a natural on the stage. Perhaps that is why Hugh Jackman will be starring in a film adaptation of the musical “Les Miz,” sure to please his fans of his stage and screen work.
