Jersey Boys tickets New York are something to kill for. Jersey Boys tickets New York are so popular that they sell like hot pies and get very exhausted within a matter of hours.
The show commonly referred to as 'jukesicals', which is skillful interlink of biography and songs in a novel and unique manner. The music by Bob Gaudio is peppy and reminds you about the wild times of the olden days. The talented star cast of the play includes Christian Hoff starring as Tommy DeVito and Daniel Reichard as Bob Gaudio, J. Robert Spencer is Nick Massi and lastly, John Lloyd Young plays the unforgettable Frankie Valli. Bob Crewe takes the credit for flawless lyrics. Howell Binkley needs to be applauded for the amazing lighting. The show became popular in a matter of one night. As a result, the ticket sales surged high and there was a record collection of $2 million in the first night itself.
The role of singer Frankie Valli, played by John Lloyd Young, is a treat to watch. Particularly the song, "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," was performed really well. Mr. Young did a marvelous job of imitating Mr. Valli's brand nasal crooning all through the "Behind the Music"-style blend, which was very smartly directed by Des McAnuff. At a time when most musicals have sunk into box office, without a trace, this production did a fabulous job. Unlike the recent Broadway flops like "Good Vibrations" (the Beach Boys show), "All Shook Up" (the Elvis show) and "Lennon", "Jersey Boys" leveraged the option of including singers who have the caliber to actually sound like the singers that they are portraying. They have also utilized the technology improved band that approximates the real sound of their music. The play's simple and uncomplicated biographical method came as a relief after "Lennon" and the chunky fancy story lines, inspired by the awkwardly incomparable "Mamma Mia!" (the Abba show), of "Good Vibrations" and "All Shook Up." Mr. Brickman along with Mr. Elice offer some likeably lively dialogue as they map the development of their key characters from road children in the urban wilderness of New Jersey to pop gods persevered in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Overall, it is a delightful treat for the eyes and ears!
