Weill was a very well known composer till the time of his death in the year 1950. His most renowned song was almost certainly “Mack the Knife”. Others popular ones included “Lost in the Stars” from the show of the same name and “September Song”. The story emphasizes the on the fact that no matter how unlikely a couple is, they can very much inspire each other.

The star cast includes two Tony award-winning actors - Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy. Both the talented actors come with tremendous theatre experience and terrific flair. Michael Cerveris playing the role of Kurt Weill, had won a Tony award in the year 2004 for his depiction of John Wilkes Booth in Assassins. The actor was also nominated for his work as the title character in the restoration of Sweeny Todd. He made his first appearance in Broadway in the year 1993 in The Who’s Tommy. Donna Murphy had won the Tony Award twice. The manner in which she put life into the character of Lotte Lenya is beyond comparison. She won critical applause in addition to a Tony award in the year 1994 for her role as Fosca in Stephen Sondheim’s Passions. She won the Tony in the year 1996 for her role as Anna in The King and I.
