Master Class tickets are available at the box office and online after the official June 21, 2011 opening. The StoryMcNally tells the intriguing story of Maria Callas, a driven and dedicated opera singer. Rather than focus on her earlier popular work the playwright looks into her later years as she tries to teach young students how to hone their skills in a "master class." Maria works to instill the virtues she inherited for hard work, dedication and sacrifice. The legendary opera singer is captivating, commanding and larger-than-life and becomes taken back by the students. Soon she begins the reflect back on her glory days and successes both in life and career. Maria rants about her unattractive young appearance and press reviews she endured as well as her blatant hatred for her rivals. Her musings come to a climax as she begins a strong monologue to her students about the sacrifices one must make for the sake of art. Master Class tickets are suitable for ages twelve and older. The production is set for a strict limited run. Make sure to grab a seat and not miss the wonderfully entertaining piece of theater magic!
