Award Winning Film Transfers To The Big Stage!

Priscilla Queen Of The Desert tickets is on sale now for the Broadway musical debut! Stephan Elliott brings his popular Oscar-Winning 1994 Motion Picture titled " The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" to the big stage. The stage show adaptation includes a book from the Australian film director and writer alongside a score of well known pop songs. Elliot's musical debuted back in 2006 in his homeland of Australia and since has found success in New Zealand, Toronto and the West End. The new show is scheduled to open at the Palace Theatre on March 20, 2011 with previews beginning on February 28, 2011. The production is an extravagant display of eye-popping costumes and set designs backed up with a musical score which will provide enough ear candy to keep your toes tapping throughout.

Priscilla tells the story of a trio of performers located in Australia, who make the decision to take their show deep into the outback. The drag queen Mitzi Mitosis, in his "real" life named Anthony "Tick" Belrose convinces his fellow performers and good friends Bernadette and Adam (otherwise known by the stage name Felicia Jollygoodfellow) to hop on a tour bus (Precsilla) and do some shows in the distant town of Alice Springs. The three wind up on a journey which leads to the discovery of love and friendship, a truly heart-warming and uplifting adventure.

Priscilla Queen Of The Desert tickets treats the audiences to a wonderful array of sensory overload. The over-the-top costume designs provide a dazzling array of pure outrageousness. The costume design is met equally with the amazing score which blends together many dance-floor pop classics. Songs include "I Will Survive," " Love The Nightlife," "Shake Your Groove Thing," "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," and "Hot Stuff." The Broadway production adds in the hilarious number "It's Raining Men" performed by The Divas, Tick and Company.

Cast and Credits

The Broadway musical production stars Will Swenson as Tick (Mitzi), Tony Sheldon, again, reprising his West End role of Bernadatte Bassenger, and Nick Adams as Adam Whitely(Felicia Jollygoodfellow ). Bette Milder has joined the production team for the Broadway debut after seeing a performance on London's West End. Ross Coleman does a fantastic job with the choreography, extravagant set designs by Brian Thomson, and the dazzling costume designs of Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner are sure to charm all audiences.
