Rain on Broadway brings the music of the Beatles alive on stage. The popular tribute band presents a fascinating multimedia concert event for a limited run at the Neil Simon Theatre. A chance for fans of the legendary band to relive the British invasion. The show will include many songs that the Beatles were never able to perform live from the Sgt. Pepper and on to the Abbey Road years. "Rain" covers it all from the early Ed Sullivan Show, amazing Shea Stadium concert and the psychedelic 1960's. The band does not miss a beat in capturing every era that the Beatles discovered. A great treat for New York City throughout the holiday season and a show all music lovers are sure to enjoy.

Rain on Broadway is not a traditional theater experience. The show is presented as a real life rock concert. The audience is encouraged to stand up, dance, clap and scream to add to the overall experience. The production includes great video screens, which zoom in as the band performs, shows historical footage and humorous commercials. The singers and musicians of the band fit the part, looking just like the "Fab Four" in every way throughout all their transformations.

Broadway productions based on the Beatles have not always faired to well. An original Beatle's show ""Beatlemania" ran in the 1970's on Broadway at a few theaters for 1006 total performances. The event went onto touring productions with success, eventually becoming the offshoot tribute band "Rain." In 2005 the Broadway show "Lennon" opened at the Broadhurst Theatre to harsh reviews. The production quickly closed after only 49 performances. The latest attempt to bring "The Beatles" to Broadway seems to be a perfect mix of what audiences and critics have been looking for. All the great song's from all the era's presented in a fun concert atmosphere filled with nostalgia. Rain on Broadway does not aspire to be something more than it is. The show is a well executed tribute to the band that inspired them and in that they succeed.

The tribute band Rain is not an overnight creation. The band itself has been performing tours in Europe and America for almost three decades. They are one of the premier tribute bands in the world and the highest grossing act in its genre. The band's show has quite a large cast. Different members take on the roles of the "Fab Four" depending on the show. Currently, the touring cast includes Joey Curatolo, Graham Alexander, Robert "Mac" Ruffing, Ralph Castelli, Joe Bologna, Doug Cox, Joe Bithorn, Tom Teeley, Jimmy Pou, Steve Landes, David Leon, Jim Irizarry, Tim Piper, Mark Lewis, Mark Beyer, and Chris Smallwood. The Broadway performances will include Beatlemania veterans Joey Curatolo (vocals, bass, guitar, piano), Joe Bithorn (vocals, lead guitar, guitar synthesizer), Ralph Castelli (vocals, drums, percussion) and Steve Landes (vocals, guitar, piano, harmonica), plus Mark Lewis (keyboards, percussion). Other members of the extended cast may be present at certain shows.

Rain on Broadway promises to deliver a note-for-note concert experience to the stage. All the great and memorable Beatle's songs are covered from the wide landscape of their discography. Songs include everything, from “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” to “I Am the Walrus,” “Revolution” and “Come Together.” Rain on Broadway has extended their run an extra week. The show was initially set to close on January 2, 2011. Rain delivers a fun, enjoyable experience that Beatle's fans are sure to fall in love with.
