Relatively Speaking tickets are one of the most talked about for the 2011 fall season on Broadway. The work includes a trio of one-act plays written by Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen. The work in its entirety covers different events falling from the same family tree. Each act is considered to be in the comedy genre. The production has begun previews on September 20, 2011 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. An official opening night has been scheduled at the theatre for October 20.

Ethan Coen presents his one act as "Talking Cure," a look into the insanity of family dynamics. The second act is "George is Dead" in which Elaine May explores death touching on the lighter and funny aspects of the event within a family. Woody Allen presents "Honeymoon Motel," in which he takes on a family wedding which will be etched into the audiences' minds for sometime. The entire production is under the direction of John Turturro. Each act includes an ensemble cast of fifteen actors, Caroline Aaron, Bill Army, Katherine Borowitz, Lisa Emery, Ari Graynor, Steve Guttenberg, Danny Hoch, Julie Kavner, Jason Kravits, Richard Libertini, Mark Linn-Baker, Fred Melamed, Patricia O'Connell, Grant Shaud and Marlo Thomas.Specifics about whom will play which characters in which acts has yet to be released.

Ethan Coen is perhaps best known for his Academy Award winning filmmaking. The screenwriter had success Off-Broadway as a playwright with the debut of "Almost an Evening." Coen followed up his playwright success the next year with the hit comedy debut of "Offices." The premiere of Relative Speaking marks Coen's Broadway debut.

Elaine May is far from a stranger to the big stage. The popular playwright is a Two-time Academy Award nominated screenwriter and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award winning playwright. She is once again reunited with producer Julian Schlossberg, whom she collaborated with on Death Defying Acts, After the Night and the Music and others.

Screenwriter and filmmaker legend Woody Allen comes back to the stagestage' of New York after a solid run as a playwright. Allen recently finished two world premiere Off-Broadway productions, "Writer's Block" and "A Second Hand Memory" which found great success.

As mentioned each act is under the direction of Emmy Award winner, and Golden Globe Award nominated actor John Turturro. Mr. Turturro made a debuted on Broadway with the play " LifeX3." Turturro is probably best known for many of his big-screen film created by Ethan Coen, which includes "The Big Lebowski" and "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Relatively Speaking will mark the actor's Broadway debut in the director's chair.

Relatively Speaking tickets are on sale now for all performances. The production is scheduled for an open-ended run.
