You will be stunned to watch James Snyder in the play Cry Baby in New York City. He plays the role of bad guy Wade “Cry Baby” Walker. The character is the king of Drapes.

Performers In Cry Baby

James Synder is an amazing artist. He has given magnificent performances in “Happy Days” and “Rock of Ages” by Los Angeles Productions; Ray Bradbury’s “Let’s Al Kill Constance”; “The Fantasticks” by Sacramento Music Theater; “Oklahoma”; “Sneaux”; and “Plop.” Apart from this, Snyder has played the role of Luke Skywalker in the much admired “Star Wars Trilogy in 30 Minutes”, which was shown in Los Angeles, Paris, and Scotland.

James Synder has also acted in many movies like “Anderson’s Cross”, “She’s the Man”, “An American in China”, “Pretty Persuasion,” and “Shuttle.” The movie “Pretty Persuasion” had premiered in 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Besides this, Synder has been the background narrator of animated movies like “Tuck Everlasting” and “Darby O’Gill.”

Equally stunning is the performance of Elizabeth Stanley, who plays the lead role of Wade’s Beau, Allison Vernon Williams in the play Cry Baby in New York City. Stanley has performed in regional shows and won laurels from the audience. They include Pioneer Theatre’s “Beauty and the Beast” in which she plays Belle; Weathervane Theatre’s “Side Show” and “Noises Off!” in which she plays Daisy and Brooke, respectively; and Gateway Playhouse’s “Aida” in which she plays Amneris.

In addition to these shows, Stanley has acted in Seaside Music Theater’s Opera named “The Telephone” in which she can be seen as Lucy. She also played the lead role in Gateway Playhouse’s “Sugar.” One of her shows named “Company” won a Tony Award. She plays the role of April in it.

The audience cannot overlook the performance of Harriet Harris, known as the comedy dame of Broadway. She plays Allison’s grandmother, Mrs. Vernon Williams, in the play Cry Baby in New York City. Harris is no less. She has a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for Featured Actress in a Musical to her credit for her character of Mrs. Meers in “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” This was in year 2002. In 2006, she received the LA Stage Alliance Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in “On the Town.” “Old Acquaintance” and “The Man who came to Dinner” are her couple of hits.

Harris has entertained the audience off-Broadway too. Shows like “Bella, Belle of Byelorussia” and “Jeffrey” received Drama Desk nominations. She has also performed in Mark Borkaw’s “Innocents’ Crusade” and “Rude Entertainment.” Harris has also shown her acting expertise in movies like “Memento”, “Nurse Betty”, and “Addams Family Values.” She impressed the audience with her striking performances in the famous TV series like Desperate Housewives”, “Frasier”, “Six Feet Under”, and “The X Files.”
