The “Ritz” on Broadway is an excellent show to watch for Chamberlin’s breath taking performance. Chamberlin plays a straight, Midwestern schmo in the story. He marries into a mafia family. Now, in order to escape from his brother-in-law’s homicidal rage, he hides into a bathhouse in Manhattan. Then starts a series of bizarre and panicky events! Little does the hiding man know that the bathhouse is for gays!!

How does the man escape from the “gay” atmosphere? Does he get discovered by the mobsters? Well, well, it’s for you to watch on the “Ritz” on Broadway! According to the lead actor, Chamberlin, the show is a wonderful ride. And if this is the reaction of the actors in the show, then the audience is surely gonna have a good time watching the show!

Chamberlin has grabbed nominations for Tony Award, for his fine performance in “Seussical” and “Dirty Blonde.” He has also entertained the audience in “My Favorite Year”, “Chicago”, “Triumph of Love”, and “Abe Lincoln in Illinois.” In addition to this, Chamberlin has worked in movies like "Road to Perdition," "Lucky Number Slevin," "In and Out" "DieHard With a Vengeance," and "Christmas with the Kranks."

You simply cannot miss watching the dashing Chamberlin, setting the stage on fire by his acting skills in the “Ritz” on Broadway. He is already regarded highly by his colleagues for his great acting. He is working in the Lifetime series titled “State of Mind” that has started this year. He stars opposite Lily Taylor.

The cast of “Ritz” contains superior talent. One of them includes musical wizard Seth Rudetsky, who had written for Rosie O’Donnell show and created the famous Broadway Backwards fundraisers, to help the LGBT Community Center. He plays the role of a bathhouse clientele, who takes part in an amateur talent show, where he sings “Magic to Do” from “Pippin”, the ‘70’s musical.

You will also get to see the comical side of Brooks Ashmanskas, who plays the gaudiest denizen of the bathhouse. He can be seen wearing a free-fall kimono in purple in the steam room. The porn legend of the 80’s Ryan Idol is also in the show. He can be seen serving as the big daddy to the group of young actors. He is the most charming of all the bathhouse clienteles.

The depiction of gay life in “Ritz” goes skin deep. It can be said as a beautiful celebration of the sexual life of gays. The entire show has been staged at the famous Studio 54. The sets look like Chinese door boxes, perfect for a circus-like show that is all about entering and exiting.

William Ivey Long has designed costumes. Long has designed outfits for over 60 Broadway shows and grabbed 5 Tony Awards! Long’s inspiration comes from the ‘70’s gay magazine named “After Dark” for the tight pants, sidepanel underwear, and shirts made from polyster Guiana.
